QCAAD

QCAAD, or Queer students in the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û²éѯ, Art and Design, strives to create a safe space for students and faculty in architecture and the allied arts who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes allies. The club hosts weekly study hangouts and craft events during the semester, represents CAAD in the yearly Starkville Pride Parade, and coordinates LGBTQIA+ History Month events during October.

The purpose of this new course – taught by Department of Art Instructor Lori Neuenfeldt – is to allow students to step into the world of museum professionals and gain first-hand experience creating museum programs, displays, and planning an exhibition.
