Foundation Portfolio Review Requirements
All art majors 鈥 鈥淎rt-Undeclared (UART)鈥 鈥 are required to participate in the Foundation Portfolio Review.

Art 1123 | Design I
Design I is a six hour studio course that teaches a basic study of the fundamental elements and principles of design with an emphasis on composition.
Art internships
Course credit for approved internships is offered in the areas of fine arts, photography, and graphic design. Design internships are also available at several locations on the Mississippi State University campus.
Art Summer Camp: INvision
INvision offers an exciting, intensive, one week in-residence summer program to introduce students to majors in the studio fields of art and design. You鈥檒l have the opportunity to work and socialize with other students from diverse backgrounds interested in making and talking about art.
