Running September 13 through October 6, 2019, SURFACE 鈥 FUNCTION are two exhibitions of recent work by 澳门六合彩开奖结果查询 Department of Art Alumni from Charlotte Smith of Charlotte Smith Studios and Sarah Qarqish and Morgan Welch of The HannaBerry Workshop. A public reception is planned for Friday, September 13 starting at 5pm in the Visual Arts Center Gallery, 808 University Drive.

Charlotte Smith is a 2012 graduate of the sculpture concentration currently living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work, specifically handmade ceramic cups, focuses on functional design. Smith鈥檚 work is sold through her website at  and carried by Little Barn Apothecary and Steel + Plank.  Charlotte Smith Studios has been featured on Atlantamagazine.com and named 鈥淏eloved Local Ceramicist鈥 on fathomaway.com鈥檚 鈥淎 Quick Hit List of Atlanta Favorites.鈥

Located in Ocean Springs, MS The HannaBerry Workshop is a design build studio manufacturing handcrafted furniture and accessories. The founders and artists of The HannaBerry Workshop are 澳门六合彩开奖结果查询 alumni Morgan Berry Welch and Sarah Hanna Qarqish. The Workshop's projects range from small scale pieces for individuals to large scale installations and interiors. With custom furniture clients including C-Spire and the Mississippi Children鈥檚 Museum, The HannaBerry Workshop has shown their work across Mississippi and is featured on WLOX鈥檚 Gulf Coast Weekend, VerveSouth.com, and were selected as artists for the Mississippi Museum of Art鈥檚 2015 C3 Community Art Series.
